Breast Cancer Survivors

Advocating for comprehensive patient care for breast cancer patients is a life purpose of mine. When I was 12, my mother was diagnosed with pre-menopausal breast cancer. Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation saved her life and I witnessed the side effects. I've made it a mission to educate medical practitioners on the early treatment and prevention of these side effects which do not need to be a constant reminder of someone's breast cancer journey.

Free 30-minute In-person Consultation

Susannah offers a free 30-minute in-person consultation to breast cancer survivors. Ideally this consultation would occur at the time of diagnosis before treatment begins. During this session we can discuss your medical plan of care and take baseline objective measurements prior to medical intervention. Physical therapy screening allows for early intervention, education and patient empowerment. Please let your loved ones know about this free screening opportunity.

To schedule, please contact Susannah at 770.356.3132.

Summer Stand Up Paddle Board Retreat

Susannah is working to launch a September Stand Up Paddle Board Retreat with SUP and yoga instructor Andrea Morris this September at Lake Nantahala. The day will consist of paddling and mindfulness (maybe even challenging you with some safe yoga poses) on paddle boards! Lunch will be included. Attendees are invited to attend an optional breast cancer advocacy meeting; Susannah would like your feedback on local breast cancer support programs as well as content she is creating surrounding breast cancer advocacy internationally.

If you are interested in attending the clinic or being a sponsor, please e-mail

"I met Susannah at a Mission Hospital Breast Cancer Support Group session...we were quite impressed by her professionalism; by her substantial credentials; and by her bubbly, caring personality. During my treatment, Susannah diagnosed and positively addressed both my lymphedema and lymphatic cording in my right arm, either of which left untreated would have been debilitating. She also helped my with the gynocological issue of dryness and tearing resulting from my chemo regime; and she guided me in exercises to increase my energy levels and stamina. Susannah has helped me regain the use of my right arm and shoulder after a failed breast implant procedure. In essence, Susannah has given me back my quality of life, which helps ensure OUR quality of life for my husband and me. THANK YOU Susannah!"
